NORTH CREEK, New York (March 25, 2024) — SUNY Adirondack is proud to announce an exhibition of professors’ artwork, “SUNY Adirondack Faculty Exhibition,” at Tannery Pond Center.
The exhibition, which features 31 works, runs through April 20 at the facility’s Widlund Gallery, 228 Main St. in North Creek.
“SUNY Adirondack Faculty Exhibition” features art by full-time faculty and staff members and adjunct instructors, including Nicholas Ameden, Matthew Destefano, Christopher Evans, Jessika Erickson, Kelly Girard, John Hampshire, Rhianna Hogan, Renee O’Brien, Katherine Patterson and Brandon Segal.
“We are thrilled SUNY Adirondack Art faculty shared the art work in our gallery,” said Candice Murray, executive director of Tannery Pond Center. “The pieces are a wide range of media and materials and present a broad spectrum of what the faculty provide to students in their classes.”
Photography, sculpture, paintings, textiles, prints, drawing and mixed-media works are included.
"We are thrilled to be able to showcase the immense talent of our faculty,” said Dr. Renee O’Brien, professor of Photography and chair of the Arts, Media and Culture division at SUNY Adirondack. “Our educators share with our students experiences from their rich careers as artists, inspiring creativity and further instilling passion.”
Widlund Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. To learn more, visit https://www.tannerypond.org/events/gallery-suny-adk-faculty
