Personal and youth enrichment

The Office of Continuing Education offers learning opportunities for people of all ages. The short-duration, noncredit classes encourage lifelong learning and offer community members a place to explore their personal interests and make new friends. Class topics vary by semester. Topics may include but are not limited to arts and crafts, driver training, fitness, food, health and wellness, home and garden, language, music, tours and "Never stop Learning" classes for well-seasoned students.

Noncredit course registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All courses and programs are subject to cancellation for insufficient enrollment, so please register early.

After taking these courses, students will be able to perform most minor maintenance tasks at home, diagnose larger bike issues, and be prepared for any trailside/roadside repairs. Students will also learn introductory skills required for entry-level employment in the bike industry.

About the instructor: Kyle Esposito teaches in the Outdoor Education program at SUNY Adirondack and runs a bike repair training company called Masterlink. Kyle serves on several local mountain bike development/stewardship groups, and loves working on bikes almost as much as he loves riding them.
