SUNY Adirondack signs agreement with University at Buffalo pharmacy program
SUNY Adirondack has formed a collaborative agreement with the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The agreement allows students to complete two years of undergraduate study at SUNY Adirondack in an associate degree program and then transfer to University at Buffalo’s four-year Doctor of Pharmacy program.
The professional degree program prepares students to be therapeutic drug managers, working as integrated members of the health-care team, along with physicians, non-physician providers and other allied health professionals.
The pharmacy school has similar agreements with Erie Community College, Columbia Greene Community College, SUNY Broome, Nassau Community College, Rockland Community College, Tompkins Cortland Community College, Dutchess Community College, Monroe Community College, Genesee Community College, Finger Lakes Community College and Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
As part of the agreement, two qualified students from each community college will be guaranteed acceptance into the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences each year.

The school is accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) and is the No. 1 ranked school of pharmacy in New York state and No. 22 in the United States by U.S. News & World Report.
