Biography
Lâle Davidson’s novels "Blue Woman Burning" (2021), "Against the Grain" (2022) and "Beyond Sight" (2023) were published by Emperor Books, an imprint of Red Penguin Books. Her collection of experimental and fabulist short stories, "Strange Appetites," won Adirondack Center for Writing’s People’s Choice Award in 2016. All are available everywhere books are sold. She was awarded the title of distinguished professor, in 2015, and the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activity in 2017. Hobbies and interests
Lâle Davidson lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband and two cats. Her adult child, a painter, graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts in 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, ghost tours and guesting on creative podcasts. She is creating audio versions of her novels.
