Non-degree students
Students who only want to take a class or two are sometimes referred to as non-matriculated, visiting or noncredit*.
The labels are the most complicated part, we promise.
To take a class (or two):
- Review course offerings for the coming semester.
- Complete and submit a registration form for new non-matriculated student.
- The Registrar's Office will respond via email with your registration confirmation and any necessary follow-up information.
If you have any questions, please contact the Student Success Center, or the Registrar's Office.
*The Office of Continuing Education offers noncredit courses for students ages 7 to 97. Take a class at our Queensbury campus, SUNY Adirondack Saratoga in Wilton, online, off campus or at your own location. Offerings include workforce training, personal enrichment, youth education, international education and outdoor education.

Living a better life
Knowledge is not the same thing as wisdom, but it enables you to become wise: You can understand more situations, more people, and that enables you to be wiser and to live a better life.”
