Culinary Arts

SUNY Adirondack's Culinary Arts degree program requires passion and drive. As a student, you will find yourself active in many kitchen settings — in our student-run restaurant, internships and partnerships with local restaurants and hotels. While refining hands-on skills, you learn current food, drink and service styles. Core courses of this program include classic culinary cooking, preparation technique, baking, purchasing, safety and sanitation studies.

Curriculum and requirements

Students experience hands-on learning in SUNY Adirondack's Culinary Arts Center and Seasoned, the college's student-run restaurant. Students lead open lunches and community dinners for the public during the year.
